This is an ordinary working thimble. But it is perhaps most my most prized thimbles. This was a thimble that my grandmother used when sewing. It was given to me before she passed away and now I love that it sits amongst my collection.

Such specimens are the most important! I also have some family heirlooms in my collection and these are very important to me, because my grandmother and great-grandmother used them.
